NEW DELHI: Nearly one-third of Delhi has antibodies against Covid-19, the city government said today, citing details of the second series of surveys in the capital.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain said, "The second survey found a trend of 29.1 per cent."

He said the highest prevalence was in the south-eastern district.

"Scientists say that 40 per cent of people have antibodies to the virus when the animal is immune," Mr Jain said.

The first survey was conducted in the first week of August. The other two rounds are scheduled for the first weeks of September and October.
